The Air (Space)

considered with reference to the earth—as all ^parts of the universe bear reference to each other, and all other things therefore bear down their influence more or less upon this earth.—

A Description of those things that may be said to be most closely related toidentified with the air, (—for movement, visibility, occupancy &c) as the orbs, space, light, heat (—as Silliman says—Cosmical—not Terrestrial)
