     Did not see W. this day, but he kept well, though not getting out at all. Has been watching for sunshine but the rain today was severe. Sent to Harned for one volume of the Encyclopaedia Brittanica "for a particular purpose."

     Also "swopped" with T. one copy of his big book for 12 of "Camden's Compliment." "The only other copy of Camden's Compliment I had I sent to my sister," he said.
