     Did not see W. this day—I was out of town, at Logan. But learned his sick spell continued. Yet he went out, to the shore

in the evening—stayed there a long time, "drinking in the scene—the quiet—the peace superb." Weather beautiful and mild. His present spell not caused by atmospheric severity.
